Throughout the year, the Florida Lottery participates in local events and radio remotes across the state, providing community outreach and support. Taking part in these events helps the Lottery to increase public awareness of the Lottery's commitment to education. The following is a listing of events where the Florida Lottery is participating.

Cuba Nostalgia, Miami
Cuba Nostalgia is a three-day event showcasing Cuban life, customs, and heritage. Exhibits include vendors selling Cuban theme items, memorabilia, art galleries, and artists. There is also live music and traditional Cuban food and drinks. The Florida Lottery will have a sales booth on site for players to purchase their favorite Florida Lottery games.

Blue Crab Festival, Palatka
The Blue Crab Festival is an annual event held on Memorial Day weekend. The free, four-day festival includes a parade, carnival rides, live music, arts and crafts, and a variety of commercial vendors set up along the newly renovated riverfront in downtown Palatka. The Florida Lottery will have a sales booth on site for players to purchase their favorite Florida Lottery games.

Monticello Watermelon Festival, Monticello
The Watermelon Festival is the highlight of community activities in Jefferson County; hosted by the Monticello Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce. The event was created over 50 years ago to recognize the watermelon growers of the county. The Showvan serves as the main entertainment stage at the event.
