BRANDON MOTHER AND SON WIN $60,000
IN THE LOTTERY'S MATCH AND WIN SCRATCH-OFF GAME

TALLAHASSEE - The Florida Lottery today announced that MATCH AND WIN Scratch-Off game winner, Rita Brown, 55, of Brandon, and her son Matt, 20, claimed their $60,000 cash prize at the Florida Lottery Tampa District Office.

Ms. Brown and her son were very excited to claim their prize. They were on their way to purchase a "used" Range Rover for Matt to drive to his college classes. "He has made excellent grades so far this school year and he is a very good kid," said Rita. She purchased the winning ticket at Circle K, located at 101 N. Faulkenburg Road in Tampa.

The MATCH AND WIN game launched on July 14, 2009, and is the fourth $3 Scratch-Off game offered by the Florida Lottery. There are 13 of the 20 $60,000 top prizes remaining. The overall odds of winning are 1-in-3.99. Tickets may be purchased at any of the more than 13,000 Florida Lottery retail locations.

Since 1988, the Florida Lottery has contributed more than $20 billion to the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund, benefiting our students and schools, as well as funding more than one million Bright Futures scholarships. By a two-to-one margin, Florida voters in 1986 approved a constitutional amendment authorizing the state to operate a lottery for the purpose of generating significant additional moneys for education.
