$2 TICKET MAKES PENSACOLA MAN $20,000 RICHER TALLAHASSEE - The Florida Lottery announced that CASH ROULETTE Scratch-Off winner, David Stevenson, 31, of Pensacola, claimed a $20,000 top prize at the Florida Lottery Pensacola District Office. Stevenson said he was elated about his winnings, and plans to purchase a vehicle as he currently doesn't have one. Stevenson purchased his winning ticket from Trisha's One Stop, located at 3637 Mobile Highway in Pensacola. The new $2 Scratch-Off game, CASH ROULETTE launched on June 16, and offers 20 top prizes of $20,000. The overall odds of winning are 1-in-4.69. There are 18 top prizes still remaining. Tickets can be purchased at any of the more than 13,000 Florida Lottery retail locations. Since 1988, the Florida Lottery has contributed more than $19 billion to the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund, benefiting our students and schools, as well as funding more than one million Bright Futures scholarships. By a two-to-one margin, Florida voters in 1986 approved a constitutional amendment authorizing the state to operate a lottery for the purpose of generating significant additional moneys for education. # # # |
