ST. PETERSBURG MAN CLAIMS FANTASY 5® TOP PRIZE WITH FREE TICKET TALLAHASSEE--The Florida Lottery announced today that FANTASY 5® winner Guy Van Kralingen, 32, of St. Petersburg, claimed the $198,626.61 FANTASY 5 top prize drawn on July 13. Van Kralingen's winning ticket was a free Quick Pick ticket he had won in a previous FANTASY 5 drawing for matching two numbers. Van Kralingen received his winning FANTASY 5 Quick Pick ticket at 7-Eleven, located at 3000 49th Street North in St. Petersburg. The retailer received a bonus incentive of $500 for selling the top prize winning ticket. The winning numbers were: 18 - 20 - 28 - 32 - 35 Van Kralingen claimed his winning ticket with his brother at the Florida Lottery Tampa District Office. When asked if he had any plans for his prize money, he replied "Iżm going to send my parents on a trip." Total ticket sales for this top prize generated approximately $331,000 for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF). Since 1988, the Florida Lottery has contributed more than $19 billion to the EETF, benefiting our students and schools, as well as funding more than one million Bright Futures scholarships. By a two-to-one margin, Florida voters in 1986 approved a constitutional amendment authorizing the state to operate a lottery for the purpose of generating significant additional moneys for education.
