To play, pick up a FLORIDA LOTTO playslip at an authorized Florida Lottery retailer. To find a retailer near you, click here. Each playslip contains 10 panels (A-J), allowing you to play up to 10 plays per drawing (one play per panel).
1. In each panel, select the amount you want to play: $1, $2 or $3. (To play $2 LOTTO PLUS, select $2; to play $3 LOTTO PLUS, select $3)
2. Select six numbers from 1 through 53 in each panel, or mark the QP (Quick Pick) box in the panel and let the terminal randomly pick some or all of your numbers.
3. To play the same numbers for more than one draw, simply tell the retailer how many advance draws you wish to play or select the number of draws you want to play in the Advance Play section of your playslip. For more information on Advance Play, please click here
4. Give your completed playslip and payment to the retailer. You will receive a ticket printed with your numbers, draw date(s) and the value of each panel played. Please check your ticket before you leave the store. You are responsible for the accuracy of your ticket.
5. Check the official drawing results to see if you're a winner! Draw results are available on this Web site, at authorized Florida Lottery retailers and by calling (850) 487-7777.
Drawings are held Wednesday and Saturday nights at 11 p.m., Eastern Time. Tickets may be purchased until 10:40 p.m., Eastern Time, on the night of the draw. Tickets purchased after 10:40 p.m. will be for the next draw.
If you claim a prize on a winning Advance Play ticket before all of the draws on the ticket have occurred, you will be issued a continuation ticket for the remaining draws with the same play numbers as the original ticket.
Please remember: All prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the applicable draw date.
How to Win
The Florida Lottery will hold official FLORIDA LOTTO drawings where six out of 53 numbers will be drawn at random. If your six numbers match the six winning numbers drawn in the official drawing for the date played, you win a FLORIDA LOTTO jackpot. Match three, four or five of the winning numbers to win other cash prizes.
The jackpot prize won will depend on the amount played and the number of 6-of-6 winners per prize pool:
$1 LOTTO player(s) will win the FLORIDA LOTTO base jackpot.
$2 LOTTO PLUS player(s) will win the base jackpot plus $10 million from the $2 jackpot prize pool.
$3 LOTTO PLUS player(s) will win the base jackpot plus $10 million from the $2 jackpot prize pool and $15 million from the $3 jackpot prize pool – a total of $25 million added to the base jackpot!
If there are multiple winners, the base jackpot, the $2 jackpot prize pool and the $3 jackpot prize pool will be shared among winners who are eligible for that prize pool.
Example of a shared jackpot with three jackpot winners (one of which played $1, one which played $2 LOTTO PLUS and one which played $3 LOTTO PLUS): Each winner will receive 1/3 of the base jackpot prize; the $2 and $3 LOTTO PLUS players will each receive 1/2 of the $10 million from the $2 jackpot prize pool; and, the $3 player will receive the entire $15 million from the $3 jackpot prize pool. If the base jackpot is $3 million, the $1 LOTTO player will win $1 million, the $2 LOTTO PLUS player will win $6 million and the $3 LOTTO PLUS player will win $21 million.
Players may choose to receive their portion of the FLORIDA LOTTO jackpots in a one-time Cash Option payment or in 30 annual payments. The Cash Option payment is the amount required on the day of the drawing (or if the drawing is held on a Saturday or holiday, the business day prior to the drawing) to fund the applicable jackpot prize paid over 30 years, less applicable taxes.

If there are multiple 6-of-6 winners, the jackpot prizes will be shared equally within the applicable prize pool.
