SUNRISE WOMAN WINS TOP PRIZE
PLAYING WHEEL OF FORTUNE® SCRATCH-OFF GAME
TALLAHASSEE - The Florida Lottery announces that Alba Ribero, 55, of Sunrise, claimed a $2 million top prize in the WHEEL OF FORTUNE® Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. She chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,600,000.00.
Ribero purchased her winning ticket from Winn Dixie, located at 11290 State Road 84 in Davie. The retailer will receive a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
The $10 Scratch-Off game, WHEEL OF FORTUNE, launched in April, and features more than $75 million in total cash prizes, including four prizes of $2 million! The game's overall odds of winning are one-in-3.44.
Scratch-Off games are an important part of the Lottery's portfolio of games, comprising approximately 68 percent of ticket sales and generating more than $784 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in fiscal year 2016-17.
