TALLAHASSEE - The Florida Lottery announces that Judy Ware, 52, of Tallahassee, claimed a $500,000 top prize in the EXTRA PLAY Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. She purchased her winning ticket from TLSE Petro 5, located at 380 West Tharpe Street in Tallahassee.
The $5 game, EXTRA PLAY, launched in August 2018, and offers more than $58 million in cash prizes, including eight top prizes of $500,000. The game's overall odds of winning are one-in-3.99.
Scratch-Offs are an important part of the Lottery's portfolio of games, generating more than $871 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in FY 2017-18, and comprising approximately 69 percent of ticket sales.
