BOLDER, BRIGHTER, BETTER FUTURE BUDGET
TALLAHASSEE - Today, Florida Lottery Secretary Jim Poppell issued the following statement on Governor DeSantis' Fiscal Year 2020-2021 Proposed Budget:
"With today's budget announcement, Governor DeSantis has reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to ensuring every Florida student has the best education possible. At the Florida Lottery, we are working every day to support that commitment. Since 1988, the Lottery has contributed over $36 billion to enhancements in education. We have also helped send over 840,000 students to college through the Bright Futures Scholarship Program. We are proud to support Governor DeSantis as he works to create a world-class education system in Florida."
