The Lottery's purchasing process plays a key role in the support of the Lottery's mission and strategic objectives by minimizing the percentage of sales allocated to administrative expense through an effective and efficient purchasing process.

Acquisitions are made using several purchasing tools which include: telephone quotations, State Contracts and negotiated agreements, General Services Administration contracts, the Invitation to Bid, the Request for Proposal, the Invitation to Negotiate, an Informal Competitive Quotation, or a Request for Offer.
