CLEARWATER MAN CLAIMS $2 MILLION TOP PRIZE
PLAYING THE $10 HOLIDAY BONUS SCRATCH-OFF GAME

TALLAHASSEE - The Florida Lottery announces that Jason Chambers, 59, of Clearwater, claimed a $2 million top prize in the $10 HOLIDAY BONUS Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,420,000.00.

Chambers purchased his winning ticket from Feather Sound Rally, located at 3400 Ulmerton Road in Clearwater. The retailer will receive a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

The $10 game, $2,000,000 HOLIDAY BONUS, launched in October 2018, and gives players the chance to win more than $62.5 million in prizes, including two top prizes of $2 million. The game's overall odds of winning are one-in-3.39.

Scratch-Offs are an important part of the Lottery's portfolio of games, generating more than $871 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in FY 2017-18, and comprising approximately 69 percent of ticket sales.
