Maxwell claimed his prize at the Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $695,000.00.
Maxwell purchased his winning ticket from SunStop, located at 3519 North U.S. Highway 441, in Lake City, where he lives during summers. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling a winning Scratch-Off ticket.
